Air Cooled Heat Exchangers

AIR-COOLED HEAT EXCHANGERS

Air-cooled Heat Exchangers are very instrumental in reduction of consumption of precious water especially in water scarcity regions. With the use of highly efficient corrugated fins, CEES has demonstrated immense water savings and attractive payback periods for India’s largest sugar refineries and ethanol manufacturers.

CEES has indigenously designed special corrugated fins for air cooling applications. These fins incorporate alternate slits and holes around the collars whose function is to create turbulence and reduce fouling in the fins.

The collars are designed such that it makes it possible to change collar height hence allowing variable pitch as per applications and requirements.

CEES has developed the capability to provide 2 kinds of Air-cooled exchangers.

  1. Dry Air coolers
  2. Adiabatic Air coolers

Dry air coolers are highly effective in regions where the Ambient temperatures are lower than the process temperatures. In regions where the Ambient temperatures are close to the process temperatures, at low relative humidity, Adiabatic air coolers become highly economical and efficient.

Both type of air-coolers help in reducing water usage, reducing cooling tower capacity and adhering to governmental norms. To know more about the CAPEX and OPEX requirements along with payback period calculations, please connect with us on our Contact Us Page.
