Recuperative Laser welded plate heat exchangers are utilized in Ammonia, Methanol and Hydrogen Reformers with thermal efficiencies in excess of 95% with counter flow concept. Under the continuous success of the 'Make in India' program; B3E Heat has partnered with Clean Earth Energy Solution India Pvt Limited to develop the import substitute product 'Welded Plate type Air preheater’ in India and create 'CEES' as the hub for the India as an exclusive partner for B3E Heat.

Air-preheaters are used to recuperate heat from outgoing Flue gas (~335 degC released to Atmosphere) by exchanging this precious heat to incoming ambient air. This ambient air is preheated to ~300–330 degC and then sent to the combustion chamber. By use of laser welded plate type technology coupled with Counter flow arrangement and correct metallurgy, it is possible to achieve low temperature approaches and extract maximum heat from Flue Gas. This helps in increasing the overall efficiency of the system.
With patent CFX technology, on Plate-type heat exchangers, B3E Heat and CEES India have maximized Heat Recovery while keeping space & foundation requirements unchanged, enabling easy retrofitting and faster Returns on Investment.
